An unprecedented contemporary art exhibition coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Xinhai(辛亥)Revolution that gave birth to modern China in 1911. Contemporary Taiwanese artists are joined by artists from Mainland China and North America to provide differing critical viewpoints on life in modern China with a special focus on the political, social, and economic relationships between the Peoples Republic of China, Taiwan, and the United States. This exhibition is intended to provide a forum to enhance the public’s understanding of modern Chinese history and the complex interactions between Mainland China, Taiwan, and USA, as well as to raise awareness of how these and continual developments will affect US foreign relations.
