After the success of its first edition in 2016, the expected second edition of China IN Spain: Film and Moving Images from China Festival will be presented in Madrid. This is the first professional event about China`s contemporary audiovisual and art scene in Spain that attracts the general audience, as well as moving images European collectors, museums programmers and specialized gallerists as special guests. The aim of the festival is to connect the space in-between cinema of author, contemporary art and moving images in China, bringing together all these audiovisual works in a movie theater. Every screening will be preceded by presentations by experts, collectors and artists themselves. The festival has a weekend duration (8-10 September,2017) and it is organized in Matadero Madrid, where it will be presented to the international press. Matadero Madrid is a space for the exchange of ideas and cultural values of contemporary society, open to all fields of creation, in order to favor the encounter and dialogue between creators and themselves with the public.
